STEPANUS, 2011 Faculty of Agriculture, University Mulawarman. Relationship Between Farmers Group Dynamics With Application Level Technology At Ranch Coffee (Coffea sp) in Kuala Village Square West Malinau district of Malinau (under the guidance of Rita Mariati and Midiansyah Effendi).

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of farmer group dynamics, and the level of technology application in farming of coffee (Coffea sp), and the relationship between the dynamics of farmer groups and agricultural applications of technology level in coffee (Coffea sp) in Kuala Square West Village district of Malinau. Research carried out for three months starting in Ferbuari to August 2011 with research sites in the village of Kuala Square West Malinau district of Malinau.

Data collection methods purposive method with observation to the location of research and interviews directly to coffee farmers 24 respondents. The method of sampling conducted by the census method, and methods of data analysis performed by the method Lirket. To determine the relationship between the dynamics of farmer groups with the level of farming technology in coffee (Coffea sp), were analyzed by Pearson Chi-Square contingency coefficient, to measure the levels near or absence of a relationship between variables was tested with the Rank-Spearman correlation coefficients.

he results showed that the average score of the level of farmer group dynamics of the 24 respondents ie 18 coffee farmers are at an low level. While the average score of the level of technological application in farming of coffee (Coffea sp), from coffee growers amounted to 24 respondents residing in the media 19,92. The low between the dynamics of farmer groups with the level of farming technology in coffee (Coffea sp) where the decision is obtained  _Hitung  ≥ _{tabel   (}α   = 4.116 ≥ 1.717 means there is a relationship between the dynamics of farmer groups with the level of technology application agriculture coffee         (Coffea sp.)
